Rob Pearman is Executive Director of Colliers International in Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA), one region in a global real estate organization which now encompasses almost 240 offices in more than 50 countries throughout the Americas, Asia Pacific and EMEA.

His role is organizational and strategic, and includes developing Colliers’ presence in new territories across the EMEA region, assisting in the creation and maintenance of effective communication between Colliers professionals and offices, and providing regional marketing support.  Rob’s office also acts as a link between the EMEA and Colliers headquarters and professionals in other regions.  Rob first knew Colliers as a client, providing communications and marketing consultancy for the EMEA region.  He was then invited to move to his current post, since when he has overseen the introduction of Colliers operations in more than a dozen countries.

Prior to this, he had developed a private business as a marketing and communications consultant, working with many UK and international blue chip clients.  His original expertise was as a writer and producer of business-to-business communications in various media.  For a few years, he taught these skills to undergraduates at what is now the University of Westminster in London.

Although a “European” by instinct, Rob was born in the UK, where he attended Manchester and Bristol Universities, graduating in European languages, theatre studies and modern European literature.
