Area of Expertise
I specialize in commercial office product, with expertise in both leasing and investment sales and including both landlord and tenant representation.  My geographic expertise in the San Francisco Bay Area covers the Highway 24 and North I-680 corridors, extending along the BART line from the Orinda and Moraga Hills, then east and north through Lafayette, Walnut Creek, Pleasant Hill and Concord, and finally south through Alamo, Danville and San Ramon. 

Background

I have worked in commercial real estate brokerage for16+ years and have been a Vice President with Colliers International since 2008. 

Prior to entering commercial real estate in 2001, I had a successful career in advertising on national brands such as American Honda, Phillips Electronics, and Micron PC.  Working on the business side, I was responsible for designing and implementing the plans to effectively bring together the strategic direction of the client’s business with the creative capacity of the firm.  I bring from this career experience the ability to effectively identify and address the concerns and needs of both parties in a transaction. 

I have continued to develop and hone this skill in commercial real estate and have demonstrated exceptional skill and nuance in identifying tenants’ needs and sourcing space that satisfies those specific needs.  This is further evidenced by my loyal client base that consistently returns to me for my expertise in successfully negotiating transactions and my market knowledge.

In association with Colliers International, a full-service brokerage company, I have many resources available to me.  These include market information tracked by a full research department, brochure and web design by Colliers’ graphics department, a Map Info trained professional GIS department, which include Map Market geocoding capabilities and Air Photo USA aerial imagery, and Nielsen Site Reports for full demographic information which can be incorporated graphically or overlaid onto aerial maps.  If the transaction requires the involvement of outside experts in legal matters, space planning, or tenant improvement construction, Colliers International helps make those resources readily available.  Additionally, Colliers provides property management, lease administration, appraisal/tax services, mortgage brokerage, and construction management services.  My business is truly full service – with everything necessary to help my clients achieve their real estate goals.

Accomplishments

I reside in Lafayette with my wife, Julie, daughter, Morgan, and son, Grant.  I am Vice Chair of the Lafayette Planning Commission, have served on the Vestry of St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Orinda, and am an active volunteer at my kids' school, The Seven Hills School, in Walnut Creek, California.
