Mr. Fong has been a leasing and sales broker with the Retail Services Group of Colliers Monroe Friedlander, Inc., Hawaii’s largest commercial real estate company for more than five years. A major contributor to Mr. Fong’s expertise and knowledge is his close association with the consulting and research division of Colliers Monroe Friedlander, Inc. in tracking hundreds of sales and leases of commercial space.

Mr. Fong works closely with large, nationally recognized landlords such as: Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association (TIAA-CREF) (NASDAQ Symbol: CREF) in the leasing of Town Center of Mililani (Mililani, Oahu), a 450,000 square foot Neighborhood Center anchored by Wal-Mart, Long’s, Star Market, and Consolidated Theaters; Morgan Stanley (Morgan Stanley: NASDAQ Symbol: MWD) in the leasing of Pearl Highlands Center (Pearl City, Oahu), a 420,000 square foot Power Center anchored by Sam’s Club, Ross Dress for Less, Pier 1 Imports, and CompUSA; Lasalle Investment (Jones, Lang, Lasalle: NASDAQ Symbol: JLL) in the leasing of Waipio Center (Waipio, Oahu), a 87,000 square foot Power Center anchored by Foodland Supermarket; Campbell Estate in the leasing of Kapolei Shopping Center (Kapolei, Oahu), a 136,000 square foot neighborhood center anchored by Safeway and Long’s; A&B Properties, Inc. (Alexander & Baldwin: NASDAQ Symbol: ALEX) in the leasing of Kunia Shopping Center, a 61,000 square foot neighborhood center; The Marketplace at Kapolei, a 62,000 square foot neighborhood center; Ewa Beach Shopping Center, a 77,000 square foot neighborhood center; and Kaneohe Shopping Center, a 53,000 square foot neighborhood center.

Previous shopping center projects include: Maui Marketplace (Kahului, Maui), a 260,000 square foot Power Center, anchored by Lowe’s Hardware, Sports Authority, Office Max, Pier 1 Imports, and Borders Books; Pearl Kai Center, a 127,000 square foot neighborhood center anchored by Tower Records and 24 Hour Fitness; and Westridge Center, a 63,000 square foot neighborhood center located across the street from Pearlridge Shopping Center.

In addition to Shopping Center representation, Mr. Fong also works with tenants on an exclusive basis and specializes in helping his tenant clients locate and secure multiple locations within the state, such as: TD Food Group (Exclusive Franchisee for Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, A&W, Long John Silver, within the state of Hawaii; and GameStop (GameStop Corp.:NASDAQ Symbol: GME.B).
