Michael worked as a construction manager with Brown & Root and the Trammell Crow Company prior to joining Colliers International in 1986. After participating in all phases of commercial and industrial brokerage and consulting he became a principal at Colliers in 1997 and currently serves as a Co-Director of the Industrial Group.

Over the past 5 years, Michael has been involved in closing 143 transactions valued at over 313 million dollars.

Michael brings a broad base of experience to Colliers combined with a creative approach to brokerage services. Mike specializes in land sales and the leasing and sale of commercial and industrial properties in Houston and throughout the Gulf Coast region with a focus on intermodal properties.

Professional/Community Involvement 

Michael is a past President of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR), and has actively participated in Commercial Services Committee of the Houston Association of Realtors. He is a member of the Greater Houston Partnership’s Freight Rail Operations Committee and is on the Advisory Board of the University of Houston’s Center for Logistics and Transportation Policy.

Michael is a past Board Member of the Texas Scholarship Foundation/College Bound Program and is a member of Cypress Bible Church and supports organizations including Young Life, Multiple Sclerosis Society, Mission Houston, Star of Hope Mission, Compassion International, Houston Food Bank, and Pioneers.

Education
Michael attended the University of Idaho and Colorado State University and graduated with a B.S. in Industrial Construction Management from Colorado State University.
