Mr. Spears has played an instrumental role in executing many major transactions.  He currently has to his credit a 192,842 square foot distribution center for Ryder Integrated Logistics; 124,000 square foot build-to-suit for Dunkin’ Donuts; the expansion of Ozark Automotive Parts in a new 350,000 SF distribution center, and Mitsui-Soko.  Other users Mr. Spears has represented include Macy's, Sonoco, Mitsubishi, American Megatrends, DSC Logistics, and COSTCO.  He has completed over 500 lease/sale transactions representing more than 12,000,000 square feet.

In addition to his strong tenant representation experience, Mr. Spears has represented several major owners at their various industrial projects throughout the metro Atlanta area.  Specifically, he has represented over 3,000,000 square feet of industrial space for Teachers Retirement System of the State of Illinois, Lincoln National Life, Clarion, Seefried Properties, Archon Group, TA Associates and Prologis.  In particular, he sold Seefried Properties 50 acres and helped formulate the development scheme and lease 400,000 square feet in a 24-month period.

With respect to Investment Sales activities, Mr. Spears has sold over 3,500,000 square feet of Industrial space.  More particularly Mr. Spears represented Lincoln National Life Insurance Co. in their disposition of Southfield Corporate Center, a 650,000 square foot development, for $25,000,000.  He also represented Mitsubishi Electronics in their sale of a 440,000 square foot bulk distribution building as well as DSC Logistics in the disposition of 800,000 square foot of distribution buildings to AMB Property Corporation.

Mr. Spears is involved in community volunteer activities such as Member of the Executive Committee of the GA Tech Golf Team, Youth Basketball & Baseball Coach.  

Mr. Spears is an active Member of The Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) and currently serves as President of the Georgia Chapter.
