Matt Sarro, a Sacramento native, grew up in Fair Oaks and attended Jesuit High School. He went on to graduate from California State University, Chico where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a focus in Finance. During his time at CSUC, Matt began his sales career as an outside sales associate at Square, a mobile credit card application startup located out of the Bay Area.


Immediately upon graduation Matt moved back to Sacramento to start his career in commercial real estate. He began his training with Marcus & Millichap and, within three months of finishing his training, earned his Real Estate Sales License and began to focus on Multifamily Investments up and down the Central Valley. Matt continued to strive and build his book of business which ultimately led him to become an Associate member of the National Multi-Housing Group. In March 2014, Matt transitioned to Colliers International’s Sacramento office, where he decided to focus strictly on Multifamily properties within Sacramento County. Throughout his tenure in the business he has become a multifamily market expert within Sacramento and continues to remain focused on multifamily investment opportunities. Matt’s experience adds value to his clients whether it is getting a property properly marketed and sold or underwriting potential investments.
