Marlon Stone, executive vice president, recently joined Colliers International to lead the retail initiative for Colliers Chicago. His main objective is to grow the company’s tenant representation and product leasing services platform while continuing to service his active national accounts. During his 19-year career Marlon has represented a number of significant retailers including Barnes and Noble, Kohl’s, Saks Fifth Avenue Off 5th, DSW, Shoe Carnival and the Vitamin Shoppe among others. As a leasing agent, Marlon has completed over 1,000,000 square feet of retail transactions. Prior to joining Colliers, Marlon spent 9 years at national retail firm, Katz and Associates. As senior vice president, he managed all brokerage services for the company’s Midwest region.Marlon is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and is a board member for ICSC Chicago’s Next Generation. He is also a mentor for the Harold E. Eisenberg Foundation and has served as a guest lecturer at the University of Illinois College of Business regarding the discipline of retail brokerage.
