Colliers International’s Birmingham office, in conjunction with Hines & Moorfield, has been awarded the coveted “Deal of the Year” prize at the West Midlands Insider Property Awards.

Awarded for the completed deals on Birmingham’s Brindleyplace and Two Snowhill developments, which were both brokered by Colliers, the award was collected by Birmingham’s Craig Satchwell, Ross Blair of Hines and Jeremy Marchant of Moorfield.

The Hines deals beat off competition from CBRE and GVA for the sale of the Mailbox In Birmingham City Centre, with judges commenting “While the Mailbox deal was highly impressive and is commended, the judges felt it right to recognise the arrival in Birmingham of a major investor, spelling out the level of activity in Birmingham and confidence there is in the city.”

The awards were presented at the Hilton Metropole Hotel, NEC Birmingham and attracted 500 property professionals.
