Jeff Fredericks, SIOR, joined Colliers in 1986 and has been actively involved in commercial real estate since 1980. Jeff was named the Managing Partner of Colliers International’s San Jose/Silicon Valley operations in 1998. This role grew to include management of the firm’s Palo Alto, San Mateo and Gilroy offices. In his first two years as the Managing Partner, San Jose’s revenues increased by over 170%.

Jeff is the primary contributor and editor of Colliers International’s highly acclaimed Silicon Valley Market Report. The Silicon Valley Business Journal, The San Jose Mercury News and other trade journals for the Silicon Valley commercial real estate industry often cite Colliers’ trusted absorption and vacancy statistics. Likewise, many institutional property owners have come to rely on this comprehensive report in assessing marketing and development strategies for their portfolios.

In February of 2011, Jeff hosted Colliers’ twelth annual commercial real estate forecast, Trends2011, where Colliers International’s 2010-11 Market Report and Forecast was released. Trends2011 had an RSVP count of well over 700, making it the firm's best-attended forecast yet.

Jeff has been a shareholder in the firm since 1994. He is the Broker of Record for eight California-based Colliers International offices. He has served more than ten, one-year terms on the Colliers International Partnership Board of Directors and has likewise served on numerous Board committees including its IT Steering Committee and Finance Committee.

Jeff is a member of the Board of Directors of the Association of Silicon Valley Brokers (ASVB) and served as its President in 2002-2003. The ASVB’s purpose is to devote itself to the promotion of high standards in the field of business real estate brokerage that will foster knowledgeable, ethical, and efficient activities by its members.

As a Board member of the Northern California Chapter of the Arthritis Foundation, Jeff serves on its Advocacy Committee and with its many programs related to Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis (JRA). Jeff and his wife Kelley are extremely active leaders and participants in the Arthritis Foundation’s annual San Jose Walk and the California Coast Classic, a 525-mile bike tour from San Francisco to Santa Monica. In 2010, Jeff completed his fourth California Coast Classic and was the top fundraiser in northern California.

Jeff is a founder and current Board member of Links for Life California, a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable foundation that was formed in 2007 by the nothern California offices of Colliers International. Links for Life California is committed to help local organizations make a difference in the lives of children and their families. To date, Links for Life California has raised approximatley $650,000.00, largely through the generous donations of its brokers and staff.

Jeff lives in Los Gatos, California with his wife, Kelley and has three children, Derek, Lauren, and Lindsey.
