With over 32 years in the real estate development and construction industry, Jack Rector brings broad project experience to our development and construction management team. In his role as Senior Vice President – Construction Management, Jack directs the construction management operations for both owned and third party clients and augments our full service expertise by providing project management representation services to our tenant and landlord brokerage clients. Jack is recognized for being an experienced and accurate construction estimator, and for successfully managing all types of commercial real estate development, redevelopment, and construction types, including commercial office, retail, medical, industrial, mixed-use, multi-family, and interiors projects.

Prior to joining our team Jack served as Vice President, Development and Construction for Colonial Properties, Inc.’s Commercial Office Division. In this role Jack founded and built the department to the point in which it managed over $80 million per year in new development and $35 million per year in commercial interiors. Jack also developed a LEED program for the company which produced two GOLD and one SILVER Certified LEED projects. Jack also managed the development of a four story, 110,000 SF project for Northrop Grumman in Huntsville, Alabama which won the Association of General Contractor’s Excellence in Construction Award for the State of Alabama.

In addition to management roles associated with construction and real estate companies, Jack founded and ran his own private consulting business for five years that specialized in construction and program management for a variety of clients.
