Profile

Howard is the Director of Property Management, responsible for the operations of the Florida West Coast portfolio.   Duties include the oversight of the West Coast property management department as well as owner relations, tenant relations, staff supervision, managed property leasing and all financial aspects of both the managed properties and property management department.   Along with the above duties, Howard is also involved in the strategic planning and execution of the business development plan for the entire state of Florida.

Prior to joining Colliers Arnold, Howard was Senior Vice President/Director of Management Services for Grubb & Ellis of Tampa Bay

Achievements

Howard has 22 years of experience in commercial property/asset management for retail, office and industrial assets throughout the state of Florida. Prior to Colliers Arnold, Howard held the position of Senior Vice President/Director of Management Services with Grubb & Ellis. In this position he was responsible for the complete operations and business growth for the state of Florida.   His owners have included various institutional, financial and individual clients.  Utilizing a team approach, his teams have successfully, redeveloped, repositioned and revitalized various properties both their economic viability and visibility in their respective markets.  He has been involved in several successful construction projects that have included various tenant improvements, development of parking garages, and development of open-air shopping centers, plus ongoing renovations of existing assets to increase value.

In addition, Howard has successfully been appointed receiver by the courts for various non-performing properties throughout the state overseeing their repositioning and disposition for such lenders as GMAC, CRIIMI MAE, NationsBank, Barnett Bank, Pioneer Savings & Loan, etc.
