As Senior Appraiser in the Valuation Group at Colliers Pinkard, Mr. Jones is involved in a broad range of real estate valuation and consulting services.  In recent years, Mr. Jones' practice has focused on industrial and office property, office business parks, tax assessment reduction, litigation support and expert testimony.  His appraisal experience also includes the valuation of industrial, residential and commercial land, subdivisions, apartments, shopping centers, hotels, restaurants, nursing homes, farms, hospitals and the production of feasibility and market studies.

Representative clients include banks, insurance companies, institutional investors and pension fund advisors, corporations, public utilities, federal, state and local government agencies, attorneys, property owners and developers.

Office - Recent Appraisals:

• Boxer Property Portfolio - Baltimore, MD - 350,000 square feet in seven Class B office buildings in downtown Baltimore.

Industrial - Recent Appraisals:

• Maryland Wholesale Food Center - Howard County, MD - a tax appeal resulted in a significant assessment reduction for the client who is Howard County's largest public warehouser for frozen food.

Retail - Recent Appraisals:

• Lakeside Village Shopping Center - Owings Mills, MD - an appraisal of a 59,985-square-foot food-anchored suburban shopping center.

• Annapolis Junction - Anne Arundel County, MD - a 200-acre parcel, owned by a regional developer, was to be subdivided to support 2.4 million square feet of office and R&D space.  A detailed supply, demand and market feasibility analysis was completed.

 Mixed-Use Development - Recent Appraisals:

• Waverly Woods, Howard County, MD - a 300-acre parcel proposed for a planned mixed-use community with retail, office, senior housing, condos, and single family lots.  The appraisal was for the bulk value of the park as well as the finished pads and prospective value of completed commercial buildings.

Special Purpose - Recent Appraisals:

• University of Maryland at Baltimore and University of Maryland Hospital - advisory services have included a highest and best use analysis and consulting on the potential sale of its nursing home unit as well as appraisal and advisory services in connection with its growing campus in downtown Baltimore.

Mr. Jones' vast experience has qualified him as an expert witness in the courts of Baltimore City and Baltimore County and in U.S. Bankruptcy Court.

State appraiser licenses are held in Maryland, and the District of Columbia.
