When Gar joined Colliers International in 1998 he brought over 20 years of commercial real estate experience in the Bakersfield area with a specialization in medical office buildings.

Gar has been active in the Bakersfield Association of Realtors for 42 years and served as president in 1975. He is also a past Director of the California Association of Realtors Fair Housing Committee.

Gar formed Locator Real Estate Company 1972 and then Real Estate Marketing Company in 1979.

In 1985 he merged his company into the Century 21 America West organization which in 1992 became Prudential America West Real Estate.

Gas has sold or leased over 1,100,000 s.f. of medical office space.
