Gar joined Colliers Tingey International (CTI) as an office specialist in January 1998. He brought to CTI over 30 years of commercial real estate experience in the Bakersfield area and a specialization in medical office properties. Prior to joining CTI, Gar formed Locator Real Estate Company in 1972 and then Real Estate Marketing Company in 1979. In 1985, he merged his business into the Century 21 America West organization which in 1992 becaue Prudential America West Real Estate.
Gar has been active in the Bakersfield Association of Realtors for 36 years and served as President in 1975. He is also a past Director of the California Associationo of Realtors. Gar is an active member of the American Cancer Society and has served as Vice President and is currently a Director.
Gar has been the exclusive representative for Catholic Healthcare West, assisting with leasing and selling medical office space to physicians since 1982. Gar's other clients include: Mercy Memorial Medical Associates, Pacific Medical Buildings and OptionCare to name a few.
