Fred Sheats’s formal education and work experience are in areas of Corporate Finance and Accounting. He has held positions in banking, corporate treasury, public accounting, and management consulting.  For three years, Mr. Sheats worked in management consulting with KPMG Peat Marwick concentrating on financial institutions.

In August 1985, Mr. Sheats joined Portman Barry Brokerage Company.  Since February 1991, he has worked for Colliers Spectrum Cauble, becoming a Partner in 1995.
