She also serves as an authorized signatory and system administrator for most of the firm's corporate and REMS treasury accounts.
Ms. Southerland joined the firm, formerly known as Williams Real Estate Co. Inc. in 1981 as a part-time proofreader in the Auditing Department while still in high school. While attending college, she transferred to the Corporate Accounting Department where she became the Assistant Supervisor. After graduation, she worked full-time and shortly thereafter was promoted to Corporate Controller. In 1997, she was promoted to Vice President of Finance and Corporate Accounting for the New York office. In 2010, her responsibilities included the entire Tri-state region.
Created the Broker Cash Receipt logs which are currently used to effectively track on a deal by deal basis, all collected commissions, payments and draws to brokers in the Tri-State Region.
Received the Colliers 2010 Most Dedicated Award for the New York Office.
