Eric joined Colliers Turley Martin Tucker in 2006. From 1998 until 2006 Eric served as Vice President and Managing Principal of the Cincinnati office for The Gem Real Estate Group. Eric started his career in commercial real estate in 1992 at Property Advisors Corporation.
Eric is responsible for providing clients with a broad range of valuation and consulting services, brokerage services, coordinating and managing staff, marketing, in house database management and developing business strategies.
He has also appraised and consulted on several properties for condemning authorities, property owners and legal counsel. Many of these assignments involved in depth highest and best use analysis related to properties “damaged” by road improvement projects. Eric also provides expert witness testimony and third-party appraisal review services.
Recent clients include Fortune 500 companies, REIT’s, lenders including life insurance companies conduits and pension funds, local, regional and national banks, larger closely held and family firms, governmental organizations, financial and legal counsel.
Eric is actively involved in the Cincinnati community. He was President (2002) and Board Member of the Cincinnati / N. Kentucky Chapter of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP). Eric is also a member of the following organizations: Dayton Chapter of NAIOP; Cardinal Ohio Chapter of the Appraisal Institute; National Comprehensive Exam Review Committee for the Appraisal Institute (2001); Panel Speaker of the University of Cincinnati Real Estate Roundtable (1992-Current); Mentor and Leadership Guidance Member for the Boy Scouts of America (1993-1996); National Eagle Scout Association – Class of 1987; President’s Committee of the Greater Cincinnati Chamber of Commerce (1993-1997); Faith Community United Methodist Church in West Chester, Ohio.

Achievements
Eric is a Designated Member of the Appraisal Institute (MAI) and holds the CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation. He is a State Certified General Real Estate Appraiser in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana and is a Licensed Realtor Member of the Cincinnati and National Board of Realtors.
Mr. Gardner has also been qualified as an Expert Witness before the State of Ohio Board of Tax Appeals as well as in numerous Courts of Law in the State of Ohio for cases involving land use and zoning issues, valuation issues, and eminent domain cases. Eric also provides expert testimony at several local boards of revision in the State of Ohio and Kentucky for property owners and school boards.
Since 2004, Mr. Gardner has been an Adjunct Professor for the University of Cincinnati College of Business Administration Department of Real Estate and Finance under the direction of Dr. Norm Miller. Eric has taught both the Real Estate Principals and Real Estate Appraisal courses. He is a frequent guest speaker and panel member for various other professional, banking and real estate organizations and has been quoted in the Cincinnati Business Courier, Cincinnati Enquirer, and the Dayton Business Journal. |
