Social Responsibility

Commitment to Community

We take an active role in the community through work with charitable and community organizations. As an example, we hold a golf tournament every year to raise funds for a selected charity (a different one each year). This year our charity beneficiary is The Periwinkle Foundation.

Through our annual Colliers Charity Golf Classic, we are committed to supporting our Houston community and worthwhile charitable organizations. Special thanks to our charity partners for making this event possible every year.

Colliers Houston Outreach

BE.A.Resource ~ BEARing Gifts

BEARing Gifts provides holiday gifts to children under the care of CPS who otherwise would have no holiday cheer at all. Each caseworker submits children's holiday wishes to BEAR and then the wish lists are relayed to donors. Donors are able to sponsor a child, make a donation and/or volunteer at the BEARing Gifts warehouse. As a result of the generosity of their volunteers and donations, BEAR was able to secure gifts for more than 11,000 children in 2016.

Career's At-A-Glance Program ~ Change Happens!

Change Happens! Career's At-A-Glance Program is designed to help develop "employ-ability" for young people. This requires early ongoing efforts to help them learn about themselves, expand their knowledge of options available, and set and achieve their employment goals. Youth should be given opportunities and encouragement to think about the types of jobs they might enjoy doing. At the same time, they need to visit workplaces where they can observe and interact with adults to help them form realistic ideas about what it's like to work. Those visits may also pique new interests. The youth in the Change Happens! summer program had the opportunity to tour and learn about commercial real estate at Colliers International. The staff at Colliers International were very informative and did a great job with the youth.  Thank you very much for your support!

Local Commitments

Community involvement is invaluable to Colliers | Fort Bend because not only are we giving back, but we also get to know the community on a more personal level. Every single one of our staff members are active in a number of non-profit, civic, community and commercial real estate professional associations.
