Steady As She Goes
San Joaquin County's office market continued at a steady pace during the first quarter of 2014. The market achieved 25,078 square feet of positive net absorption marking the sixth consecutive quarter of such positive leasing activity. As a result of the increased positive absorption the vacancy rate fell to 15.9 percent, down from 16.4 percent. Overall, the market has continued on its slow and steady pace, much like what occurred during 2013.
