Giving back is an essential part of who we are. We donate our time, talents and resources to causes that are meaningful to our employees, their families, our clients and communities.

We’re also deeply committed to socially and environmentally responsible business practices—the kind that keep our communities healthy while supporting the long-term success of business.

Colliers | St. Louis Social Responsibility

We truly enjoy the communities in which we live. Therefore, our goal is be an active participant within the region and to give our people the freedom to support the projects and groups that are important to them. Since 2010, Colliers | St. Louis has, through its financial contributions and volunteerism efforts, raised over $1.2 million to support the following charities:

Thompson Foundation for Autism – The Thompson Foundation for Autism is committed to improving the lives of children and families affected by autism spectrum disorders (ASD) through awareness, advocacy and action. The Foundation is an information resource for parents, caregivers and supporters, a leader in critical autism-related legislative efforts, and an active partner in new research, interventions and education.

Operation Food Search - Operation Food Search works tirelessly to fight hunger. They are a leader at collecting and distributing food throughout the bi-state region (Missouri and Illinois), and go beyond just supplying agencies with free food.  With comprehensive nutrition education programs, an innovative weekend backpack program, and environmentally-friendly green initiatives, Operation Food Search fights hunger with knowledge, empowerment, and hope.

Life Skills - Life Skills provides opportunities for people with developmental disabilities to live in a home of their own, maintain a job, make friends, learn new skills and contribute to his or her community. Life Skills offer a variety of services to help people live, work and play with dignity in their community.

Big Brothers Big Sisters - For more than 100 years, Big Brothers Big Sisters has operated under the belief that inherent in every child is the ability to succeed and thrive in life. As the nation’s largest donor and volunteer supported mentoring network, Big Brothers Big Sisters makes meaningful, monitored matches between adult volunteers (“Bigs”) and children (“Littles”), ages 6 through 18, in communities across the country. Big Brothers Big Sisters develop positive relationships that have a direct and lasting effect on the lives of young people.

Habitat for Humanity - Habitat for Humanity International is founded on the conviction that every man, woman and child should have a decent, safe and affordable place to live. Through volunteer labor and donations of money and materials, Habitat and its homeowner families have built or rehabilitated more than 400,000 houses. A nonprofit, nondenominational Christian housing ministry, Habitat invites people of all backgrounds, races and religions to build together in partnership.

Being Green Matters

As part of our commitment to sustainability, we’re proud to be a founding sponsor of the World Green Building Council. It’s the largest international organization influencing the green building marketplace.

Organizations supported

Our goal is to raise the level of awareness and social responsibility within our company. We identify organizations that need our support and give our people the freedom to support the projects and groups that are important to them and their local communities.

In addition to local giving campaigns, the Colliers USA Foundation provides financial and resource support to both national and international disaster relief efforts.
