Greenville, SC – Colliers International is continuing its long-standing relationship with the Clemson University MRED program through the engagement of master's program student Andrew Simmons in a brokerage internship. Simmons is a candidate for completion of the MRED program at the end of 2017. In this position, he assists Colliers brokers with client assignments, provides market research and identifies emerging commercial real estate trends.
Simmons earned a bachelor's degree in Geology and Environmental Engineering Science at Clemson and worked as a hydrogeologist for EnviroSouth, an Upstate environmental consulting firm, prior to entering the MRED program. His work for EnviroSouth involved environmental site assessments (ESAs), brownfields contracts and voluntary clean up contracts (VCCs).
“We are delighted to continue our relationship with Clemson’s MRED program through Andrew. He is the fourth MRED candidate that has interned at Colliers. We have seen a lot of success from the MRED candidates and we are thrilled to see Andrew’s dedication, strong initiative and interest in commercial real estate extend through the fall internship program,” said David Feild, Market President.
