Greenville, SC – Colliers International’s Frank Hammond, CCIM, CPM and Nick Reinhardt represented Seller, SC Telco Federal Credit Union, in the disposition of an approximately 20,000-square-foot historic building located at 10 Toy Street in Greenville, SC. The building closed for $1.6 million to 10 Toy St, LLC.
The structure was constructed in 1919 and served as the home to Hayne Elementary School until 1972. The building is listed on National Register of Historic Places and sits in the Pettigru Street Historic District. In the 1980s, the former school building was renovated and repurposed for office space. Most recently, the building was home to SC Telco’s headquarters from the early 1990s until 2014, when they relocated to 420 E. Park Avenue. The new owner plans to further renovate the building for office space.
