Charleston, SC – Colliers International’s Mark Mattison, SIOR, CCIM, represented the buyer, Doublz Investments, LLC, in the sale of 4969 Centre Pointe Drive. Previously owned by Oaks at Centre Point, LLC, the 41,000 square-foot office building was purchased for $10.6 million. Doublz Investments LLC is wholly owned by Tony Romeo who now has close to 100,000 sqft of Class A office in the Greater Charleston area.
The sale is representative of the growing investor- and landlord-favored market in Charleston. With limited true Class A space and higher rents, properties like 4969 Center Pointe Drive are seeing increased interest from buyers. The property is a Class A office building in the North Charleston submarket within the Centre Pointe mixed-use development. It has convenient access to the Charleston International Airport, I-526, I-26 and is an especially desirable location as the Charleston Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA) continues to grow outwards.
Colliers International South Carolina has been assigned the property management and leasing of the building, adding to the firm’s already dominant property management portfolio of approximately 13 million square feet.
