Columbia, SC – Lexington County Recreation and Aging Commission (LCRAC) has retained LCK to manage the renovation of its Gilbert Senior Center and to oversee development of a new Senior Center in Pine Ridge, SC. Brian Davis, Senior Project Manager, is leading the LCK effort for the assignment.
Groundbreaking for the 6,000 square foot Pine Ridge Senior Center recently took place and construction for the facility will begin near the end of the year with completion targeted for the summer of 2015. Final planning is underway for the 3,000 square foot Gilbert Senior Center expansion. Solicitations for design/build services will be advertised next month.
LCRAC offers a variety of services and programs which enrich and enhance the lives of older adults. The organization also provides assistance in linking seniors and their families with available resources, services and other organizations providing services for older adults.
LCK has previously completed three similar projects for LCRAC in Lexington, Pelion and Swansea.
