Colliers International’s Henry Roe represented the owner in the sale of 1556 Main Street, a 31,000 square foot building located on the corner of Main Street and Taylor Streets in Columbia, SC. The property sold for $1,530,000. The building is the former location of McCrory Store and is across the street from Mast General Store. The iconic 1960 façade was protected by the Bailey Bill tax program. The building’s loft like interiors will soon be repurposed as part of the fast paced redevelopment of Columbia’s Main street.
Roe is a Senior Associate at Colliers International specializing in office related transactions and is responsible for handling approximately two million square feet of office space in downtown and suburban Columbia. Roe is the Chair of the Commercial Division of the Central Carolina REALTORS® Association.
