Wes Slice has recently been appointed to serve on the Board of Directors for the Midlands Fatherhood Coalition.
Founded in 1998, the Midlands Fatherhood Coalition (MFC) is the only non-profit organization in the Midlands focused on providing programs and assistance for Fathers in the areas of family relations, healthy parenting, and gaining and maintaining stable employment. MFC is a part of a statewide network of fatherhood programs which collectively serve more than 1,200 fathers annually through the coordination efforts of the South Carolina Center for fathers and Families.
Slice is a Project Manager with LCK and has recently lead several high profile development projects to completion including AllSouth Federal Credit Union’s new corporate headquarters at the corner of Elmwood Avenue and Gadsden Street, Transitions, a transitional housing facility for the homeless, and USC’s Development Foundation offices, in Columbia, South Carolina.
LCK is a privately held woman-owned business (WOB) jointly owned by majority partner, Mickey Layden, and Colliers International South Carolina. For over 20 years, LCK has delivered a project management alternative for development of new facilities and for renovations. LCK’s experience in Office, Retail, Industrial, Municipal/Government, Non-Profit, Healthcare, Educational, Religious and Special Use projects has proven to be a preferred solution for many owners. Project planning, cost control, schedule compliance and quality management routinely generate cost savings for each of LCK’s clients.
