Colliers International’s John Sellers and Tommy Tapp negotiated a lease to bring the South Carolina Science Academy, Inc., to Columbia’s Central Business District. The South Carolina Science Academy will occupy 21,580 square feet at 2015 Marion Street. Sellers and Tapp represented the landlord, Uptown Properties, LLC, in the transaction. The South Carolina Science Academy is expected to open in the third quarter of 2014.
“This is a new amenity for downtown Columbia and a valuable asset to the community. The South Carolina Science Academy is the only charter school located in downtown Columbia,” said Bill Stevenson, manager of Uptown Properties, LLC.
John Sellers and Tommy Tapp are a brokerage team specializing in the representation of landlords, owners, purchasers and tenants in sale or lease transactions of commercial properties.
