POSTED: February 15, 2017

LCK, a South Carolina-based project management services firm, is seeking an experienced project manager for its Columiba, SC office.

LCK, a partner of Colliers International South Carolina, provides project management services for a wide variety of clients ranging from the independent developer to governmental, healthcare, educational, non-profit and corporate users. As an owner’s representative, LCK’s project manager will have the opportunity to lead and advise clients in the feasibility analysis and planning, team selection, design coordination and construction monitoring phases of assignments. The types of projects will be broad and may include work in the retail, office, industrial, non-profit, healthcare, multi-family, and educational realms. The Project Manager will work closely with Colliers’ brokerage, property management and corporate solutions personnel and will report directly to the President of LCK.

The qualified candidate should have a degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management and a minimum of 10 years of experience in project management as an owner’s representative, or as a project manager in commercial development, construction or contract administration for a design firm. The successful candidate will have independently managed projects within at least one of these disciplines. Essential skillsets include a disciplined self-starter with exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills as well as technical knowledge of construction means and methods. Experience with management of a variety of commercial construction project types—both renovations and ground up is required. A successful history in assisting with sales presentations and client relationship management is a plus.

LCK originated over 22 years ago as the construction management division of Colliers International and in 2001 became an independent LLC. The company has consistently grown since its formation, with a completed volume of over $150 million in the past two years. Mickey Layden is President and majority partner of LCK, a certified woman-owned business.
