SAN JOSE, May 26, 2015 – Colliers International's San Jose office hosted its 10th annual Developer Bocce Tournament at Campo di Bocce in Los Gatos. The much-anticipated event was attended by over 150 industry professionals and included a competition amongst 32 teams. Charitable donations were made in the names of the winning team and the runners-up by Colliers' charitable foundation, Links for Life California. Links for Life provides grants to charitable organizations that benefit children in the Bay Area and has raised more than $760,000.00 benefitting 180 charitable organizations since its formation in 2007.

This year's winning team members included Casey Holt of Washington Holdings, Romy Zeid, Mark Giovanzana and John Colyar of Colliers International. Holt commented, "The Colliers Bocce Tournament is truly one of the best industry events of the year. It is a great way to bring the real estate community together in a fun and competitive environment, while raising money for a great cause."

A $1000.00 donation was made in the name of the winning team to Cake4Kids. Cake4Kids is dedicated to help foster kids and at-risk youth feel special at least one day a year, to raise their self-esteem, and to increase their chance of success in school and life knowing that people care for them. The primary method of mission delivery is by providing free birthday cakes to foster care and at-risk youth who wouldn't otherwise have a birthday celebration.

The runner-up team members included Josh Hitchcock of Hudson Pacific Properties, Susan Gregory and Greg Evans of Colliers International. A $500 runner-up donation was made in the name of the runner-up team to the City of Hope. City of Hope is a leading research and treatment center for cancer, diabetes and other life-threatening diseases. Designated as a comprehensive cancer center, the highest recognition bestowed by the National Cancer Institute, City of Hope is also a founding member of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network, with research and treatment protocols that advance care throughout the nation.

"Everyone is so busy right now that we just appreciate that so many of our clients carved out the greater part of a full day to spend this time with us," said Jeff Fredericks, Executive Managing Director of Colliers' Silicon Valley office. "In an active market like this, we need to set aside time to find out what our customers are thinking, and how we can do a better job of giving them what they need. Spending quality time together in a relaxed atmosphere allows us to do just that. It's also fantastic that our Links for Life Foundation was able to make two outstanding donations that will benefit children and families in the Bay Area."
