Combined industrial/R&D net absorption totaled 988,226 SF countywide in Q3 2016. This bolstered year-to-date net absorption to more than 1.1 million SF. Industrial buildings (manufacturing, warehouse, distribution and multi-tenant/incubator uses) and R&D buildings (flex, wet lab and R&D uses) posted positive net absorption in Q4 2016 of 716,443 SF and 271,783 SF, respectively.
