December 14, 2015 [Allentown, PA] –
Wok Box Fresh Asian Kitchen, the Canadian-based fast casual Asian food chain, will open their first franchise in the Mid Atlantic region in the spring of 2016. The restaurant, located at 818 W. Hamilton Street in Allentown, PA, will continue to add to the restaurant boom and revitalization in downtown Allentown. The chain signed a master development agreement to open 50 stores throughout the Mid-Atlantic United States. Colliers’ broker Robert Thompson represents the group for the PA/NJ/DE region.
“We're very excited to be bringing Wok Box to the Northeast US and are grateful to have Collier's International assist in our development,” said Brandon Zimmerman, Wok Box Area Developer – PA, NJ, DE. “They've been a great resource and a reliable partner through the process thus far."
The stores will be developed over the next nine years—specifically in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware—with the first three scheduled to open within the next 18 months. The opening represents the latest step in Wok Box’s U.S. franchise store growth and supplements a handful of other agreements previously signed in Arizona, California, Florida, Illinois, Michigan, South Carolina, and Texas.
Wok Box specializes in fresh, wok-cooked Asian cuisine, offering simple but extensive menu options influenced by the flavors of 10 Asian regions, including Thailand, Malaysia, Mongolia, Singapore, Korea, China, Japan, India, Cambodia, and Vietnam.
