NEW YORK, NY – January 14, 2015 – Colliers International has arranged a long-term, 2,700-square-foot lease for after-hours urgent care center Moonlight Pediatrics at 111 West 25th Street in Chelsea. This facility, set to open April 14, 2015, is the chain’s first location in Manhattan and sixth in the New York metropolitan area.

Staffed by emergency trained pediatricians from 5:00 PM to 12:00 AM, Moonlight Pediatrics provides full hospital emergency room services and treatment for illness and injuries such as asthma, fever, upset stomach, infections, fractures, and more, to newborn through 21-year-old patients.

“This family oriented, residential neighborhood –– in close proximity to Madison Square Park, numerous schools, and retail –– is an ideal first location for Moonlight Pediatrics in Manhattan,” said Dmitry Levkov, a Managing Director at Colliers International who is the exclusive leasing agent for the tenant. “We are seeing growing demand for after-hours urgent care facilities throughout New York City as they are convenient alternatives for children and their parents with shorter wait times than that of hospital emergency rooms.”

Levkov added that the tenant will look to continue its expansion throughout the borough.

The new center at 111 West 25th Street will also house an on-site digital x-ray and lab to provide immediate test results for streptococcus, respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), the flu, and more. Moonlight Pediatrics also maintains offices in Williamsburg and Borough Park in Brooklyn; the Bronx; Suffern, NY; and Lakewood, NJ.

Philip Katz, of Katz NYC, represented the landlord, Daniel Group, in the transaction.
