NASHVILLE, Tenn. (July 15, 2015) – Colliers International Nashville and Vision Real Estate (VRE) have merged to form one of the largest retail real estate leasing and management groups in Tennessee, with a total portfolio of more than 3.8 million square feet of retail space. VRE will immediately rebrand to Colliers International.
Michael Taylor and Phil Ehrlich founded VRE in 2001 with a 100-percent focus on the retail sector, providing landlord and tenant representation. The company provides property management, leasing, and tenant representation services to its clients, which include individuals, partnerships, REITs and other institutional owners.
“For 14 years, Vision has provided the best service to our customers in the retail sector,” said Taylor, VRE partner and founder. “The opportunity to join with Colliers’ local leadership, entrepreneurial history, and international platform was one that we had to seize. Our two companies coming together is a perfect fit.”

Prior to the merger, Colliers’ Nashville office already was one of the area’s largest commercial real estate brokerage and management companies, with 36 brokers and 6 million square feet of commercial space under management contracts. The combined companies will have 10 million square feet of commercial space under management including office, retail, industrial, and multifamily product. The VRE team will join the Colliers Nashville office at their new headquarters located at 523 Third Avenue South.
