NASHVILLE (December 6, 2012) – Regions Bank announced last week that the company’s area headquarters will be occupying 100,000 square feet of space at One Nashville Place. The move is expected to begin to take place in May of 2013 after current tenant US Bank makes the move to 42,000 square feet at the AT&T Building down the street in March.

Colliers International brokers Bill Neill and Chris Grear, CCIM represented One Nashville Place in the transaction.

“We are happy to congratulate Regions on their move to one of Nashville’s premier office properties,” states Chris Grear, Colliers International | Nashville Vice President.

In addition to the new Regions Bank lease, Neill and Grear have renewed and/or expanded the following tenants at One Nashville Place: the power law firm of Walker, Tipps & Malone, who will remain a tenant in the penthouse of the building; tax and advisory firm Ernst & Young; and the regional office for the law firm of Leiff, Cabraser. As of 1/1/13 the building will be 99.5% leased, which is impressive based on downtown’s 12.9% third quarter vacancy rate.

“One Nashville Place has been able to sustain a high occupancy rate during the economic downturn, and to retain and attract marquee tenants in today’s competitive environment, due to its location, functionality, and style,” states Bill Neill, Colliers International | Nashville Vice President.
