NASHVILLE (October 15, 2012) – Nashville’s already booming restaurant scene will be adding a new gem to the mix to excite “foodies”. The Neighborhood Dining Group recently purchased 37 Rutledge to bring their famous concept, Husk, to the former home of Andrew Chadwick’s restaurant.

The Neighborhood Dining Group operates the award-wining Husk Restaurant and plans to open their second location in Nashville in March of 2013. The first Husk location in Charleston, SC was voted the #1 best new restaurant of 2011 by Bon Appétit Magazine.

Chef Sean Brock, 2010 James Beard award winner and former chef at Hermitage Hotel, is the executive chef for the Husk concept. Sean has become famous for his focus on locally sourced farm-to-table fare. Husk Nashville plans to serve daily dinner, lunch on Fridays, and brunch on the weekends.

Colliers International’s Vickie Saito represented the building’s owners and Austin Benedict represented Neighborhood Dining Group in this transaction.

Austin Benedict commented, “I couldn’t be more excited to see Husk come to Nashville. Having Bon Appétit’s #1 Best New Restaurant of 2011 make its first expansion from the “foodie” Mecca of Charleston to Nashville speaks volumes about our local food scene. Sean Brock is completely dedicated to mastering all-Southern farm-to-table cuisine.”
