The World Cup CHALLENGE 


The logo follows the Colliers International corporate image standards and emphasizes on the global scope the initiative has and how it relates to the World Cup ant the soccer theme. At the end, we’re all looking to becoming COMMUNITY CHAMPIONS.

The Initiative
Championed by Javier Lomelin and led by Oscar Oceguera, The World Cup CHALLENGE is a global initiative focused on helping the Homeless World Cup foundation. It combines the passion for football  with one of our mot important values: COMMUNITY.

The World Cup is a healthy competition and so is our initiative. The World Cup CHALLENGE refers to both, the challenge we face everyday by trying to help the people that need us and the challenge focused on the competition of both offices related to each match. 

The Cause

The Homeless World Cup uses the power of football to energize homeless people so they can change their own lives. It supports grass-roots football programs and social enterprise development via a network of 70 national partners and celebrates its work by organizing an annual football tournament that unites teams of homeless people from countries all around the globe. How will we help?
This is when THE CHALLENGE becomes part of the initiative.

  • According to the Soccer World Cup’s theme, we’ll organize simultaneous events.
  • Each office will select a place to watch the game of his own country (meeting rooms, homes, restaurants, bars, etc.).
  • We’ll invite our colleagues, clients, friends and family to buy a “ticket” to attend to watch the game.
  • Both offices involved in the match, will be on a competition to sell as many tickets as possible and they’ll get in touch in the halftime and at the end to know the final score (tickets sold).
  • Both offices can be connected by videoconference during the game and live the passion of football together while supporting their team.


The Selected Matches

The MD of every office will make THE CHALLENGE to the  opposing office in the game.

The Campaign
Global and LATAM Marketing established the initiative's details, countries (matches) and communications materials.

A .pdf file about the details of the inititative was developed to inform our colleagues about what The World Cup CHALLENGE involves.

LATAM and Brazil Marketing Teams developed “THE CHALLENGE KIT”  (with all related customizable materials for organizing the event).
