Hoegh Autoliners relocates headquarters to Jacksonville

The challenge

Höegh Autoliners, the leading global provider of Ro/Ro vehicle transportation services, wanted to relocate their corporate headquarters from Jericho, New York to Jacksonville, Florida. The relocation would allow them to consolidate their activities in one office location, as well as be located in immediate proximity to one of the world’s largest automotive ports. Höegh Autoliners’ aim was to secure a Class “A” facility in close proximity to JaxPort within 90 days, and make the transition as seamless as possible.

The strategy

Identify and narrow the field of options based on Höegh Autoliners’ requirements and occupancy date.

The services

Worked closely with the Landlord, Höegh Autoliners and the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce to ensure the transaction was completed to meet Höegh Autoliners’ target occupancy date.

The results

Our thorough search of options resulted in securing a facility located close to JaxPort that complimented Höegh Autoliners’ business model and image. The relocation created 35 new high salary jobs in Jacksonville.
