Jacksonville, Florida – Colliers International Northeast Florida came together as a team to participate in The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS’s) Light

The Night Walk ...event on Thursday, November 3rd.

The Walk, which raises funds for critical research and patient education and support, was a celebration, complete with live music and refreshments. The lighted balloons that were carried were a sight to see and behold - white for survivors, red for supporters and gold to remember those who have passed .
This year’s walk began and ended at The Jacksonville Landing, with a beautiful path across two of downtown Jacksonville’s Downtown bridges for a total distance of 2 miles. Thousands of supporters, with teams of co-workers, families and friends, came out to help build awareness about the 957,000 plus people

in the United States living with a blood cancer and the many thousands more who have lost the battle. This annual event is a night to pay tribute to lives touched by cancer, honor those we’ve lost and celebrate the lives that have been saved.
Through everyone’s efforts, the Northern & Central Florida Chapter Walks raised over $942,000 in 2010. The goal is $1 million for 2011.
