Four leases were recently completed at the Rotunda Building located at 5819 Highway 6 in Missouri City. Texas Children's Hospital signed a new lease for 4,857 SF. Traci Holman and Jason Baker of Baker Katz represented the Tenant. The Speech and Learning Center renewed its lease and expanded to 1,972-SF and Transact NAP, Inc. renewed and expanded to 3,796 SF. Trivesta, LLC signed a new lease for 2,660 SF on the 1st floor. Barkley Peschel of Colliers International represented the Landlord, Rotunda, Ltd. in all of the lease transactions.

Colliers International is pleased to announce its selection as the exclusive team for the leasing and marketing for Alegacy Park, an 89 Acre Heavy Industrial Park.
Alegacy Development broke ground in November 2014 on the 89 acre heavy industrial park just west of Waller, bordering both Highway 290 and Business 290 to be known as Alegacy Park. The site plans include a 40' wide reinforced concrete road and ultimately will be home to over twenty single tenant buildings comprising approximately 500,000 square feet total. The buildings are designed as high bay heavy hoist crane served buildings. The Phase 1 construction consists of all utilities and infrastructure and the initial two buildings totaling 100,000 square feet for Owner Occupied - Alegacy Equipment and a 33,000 spec building with 30' hook height and 20 Ton crane capacity.
Vista Equities has purchased the 14.734 acres at the northeast corner at Highway 59/Interstate 69 and University Boulevard in the master planned community of Telfair in Sugar Land. Preliminary plans for the corner include approximately 160,000 square feet of mixed-use commercial development including retail, office, freestanding full service restaurants, and pad sites for banks and other similar uses. This development will create a new and exciting work and play environment for Telfair and the surrounding area’s residents.

Seattle-based Colliers International today announced its re-entry into the Austin commercial brokerage market, after a several-year hiatus. The new Austin presence will be anchored by three of the city's top office brokers: Marc Vanderslice, Doug Jones, and Volney Campbell. Formerly with HPI Corporate Services, the team will extend Colliers' full-service professional services platform to the area, offering all lines of commercial brokerage and consultation.
Molto Properties announced today plans to design and develop a 166,250 square-foot, state-of-the-art distribution building in north Houston. In conjunction with the release of the year-end Ports Report, Colliers Chief Economist and report author KC Conway has selected the Port of Houston as a winner of one of the Colliers International 2013 Port Awards. What can be said about the Port of Houston that we haven't already said? Not only is it Colliers' view that it's the "Most Irreplace¬able Port" in North America, it's proven to be quite profitable. In July, the Port of Houston generated $21 million in operating revenue, a 7 percent increase over the same period in 2012. So far in 2013, oper¬ating revenue is up 4 percent, year over year. Net income in July rose by 47 percent, year over year, to $4 million. In this year-end report, we honor the port of Houston with the "GDP (Gulf's Darn Profitable)" award. This latest recognition should not be taken lightly when one notes the unfolding events at the port of Long Beach: It takes more than great physical facilities and deep water to be a great port; it takes a great port director and board of directors.
