  • Investment Sale Completed in Middlebury, CT

    199 Benson Road Middlebury CT was recently sold to a foreign buyer for an undisclosed amount. This property includes a 313,000 SF fully leased single tenant office/lab building and two parcels of land totaling 118 acres. Nick Morizio, SIOR, CRE and Ian Hunt, both of Colliers International in Hartford, CT, represented the buyer and seller in this transaction.

The Worthington Building (748-750 Old Main Street), a 25,200 square foot office building is located in the town center and was 95% leased at closing. The building offers to the market suite sizes from 505 SF to 4,300 SF, upgraded common amenities, turnkey build-outs and a convenient location to the CT River and the Silas Deane Highway. Worthington Arms, a 41 unit "Garden Style" apartment complex located at 100 & 200 Laura Lane, contains a mix of large 1 and 2 bedroom apartments with full basement storage in each building. Philip L.     Namco has signed a long term lease for 102,000 square feet at Enfield Distribution Center, 35 Manning Road in Enfield CT. Nicholas R. Morizio, SIOR, CRE of Colliers International represented the Landlord and Tim McNamara of SullivanHayes represented the Tenant. Enfield Distribution Center is conveniently located to Route 5, I-91 and Bradley International Airport and the new ownership has made several improvements to the interior and exterior of the facility. 135,000 of industrial space and build-to-suit office is available for lease.

    KBE Building Corporation has signed a long-term lease for 23,540 SF on the 2nd floor of 76 Batterson Park Road. John J. Cafasso of Colliers International represented the ownership. Tom York of Goman & York Property Advisors represented the Tenant. Pond View Corporate Center is a "Class A" 34-acre corporate park campus with two existing buildings and a future build-to-suit site located directly off I-84 Exit 37. Each of the buildings measures 117,000 square feet with large floor plates offering tenants total flexibility for business change or growth.

  • 777 Main Street, Hartford Sells for $7.5 Million

    The office tower at 777 Main Street, Hartford has sold for $7,500,000. Most recently carrying the name of Bank of America, this 27 story building has been vacant since 2011. Bruce Becker, a Fairfield, CT developer has purchased the building with plans to convert the space into apartments. Expected completion of the project is 2015. Nicholas R. Morizio, SIOR, CRE and Jay Wamester, SIOR of Colliers International represented the seller, Grunberg Realty, and the buyer.

  • Colliers International Completes $3.5 Million Sale in Enfield, Connecticut

    35 Manning Road in Enfield, CT has sold for $3,500,000. This 235,000 square foot industrial building is the former Hallmark Cards distribution center. Enfield Distribution Center, LLC purchased the building from Best Realty Associates. Nicholas Morizio, SIOR, CRE represented the seller and buyer in this transaction. There will be numerous improvements to the property to attract new tenants. Colliers International is the leasing agent for this property.
