Case Study

Northeastern University

Colliers International has been retained by Northeastern University to act as general real estate advisor providing consulting services for a number of the university’s real estate needs.

Among other services, Colliers International has analyzed and valued a number of Northeastern-owned suburban properties for possible disposition. We engaged a land planning firm to determine potential yield for these sites and, after conducting extensive market research, produced a range of disposition values based on as-of-right, highest and best-use and other analyses. Based on this process, we provided recommendations and timelines for potential dispositions.

In addition to our suburban analyses, Colliers has been subsequently retained to evaluate current and potential real estate assets along the Huntington Avenue corridor and advise Northeastern on its future real estate needs.
