Case Study

Lahive & Cockfield, LLP

Colliers International was engaged to create a professional, first-class office for Lahive & Cockfield.

Colliers International’s project management team guided and assisted the Lahive & Cockfield through all phases of the project, from initial space programming to occupancy. Colliers International interviewed and selected the design and construction teams, and managed their interaction. The technology vendors including the phone system vendor, tel/data cabling contractor, IT consultant, security and access control vendor, internet and voice service providers and audio/visual supplier were all scoped, selected and managed by Colliers International. Colliers International also acted as move coordinators, bidding and managing the movers, and assisting in supervising the move.

Colliers International successfully created a top-grade office environment for Lahive & Cockfield which accommodated their inter-departmental interaction in a way that was unique to a firm specializing in intellectual property law, including centralized docketing and foreign filing departments accessible to the entire office, and sizable active case filing capacity. In addition, Colliers created a sub-tenant area in the additional space that Lahive & Cockfield was not using at the time, taking into consideration the firm’s eventual re-incorporation of that space to accommodate future growth.
