2016 was another strong year for commercial real estate in the Treasure Valley. The office market saw very dynamic activity with the development of Simplot’s new headquarters, the JUMP project, and the Boise Centre expansion. The face of Downtown Boise is changing to accommodate growth in all sectors. Retail users are adapting to the demand of consumers for experience driven and easy access retail. The coming year will bring further opportunities for live-work-play concepts and adaptation to urban style consumerism. Vacancy continues to decrease in the industrial market and asking rates have significantly increased in the last year. The continued demand for industrial space may initiate a push for more spec development despite high construction costs.

July 2016 - Colliers Land Report

Ada and Canyon County statistics show increased demand and a consistent increase in prices while on the other hand supply is starting to stagnate. 

2015 Q4 Year-End Market Report

2015 proved to be the best year commercial real estate has seen in many years. The retail market saw record absorption, consumer confidence is the highest it's been since the recession and we expect to see strong momentum into 2016. The office market has seen consistent growth and new users continue to flow into the area.

2015 Q3 Market Report

The retail market experienced another quarter of very strong absorption resulting in over 500,000 SF of positive absorption in the past 6 months. The industrial market is continuing to see vacancy rates drop to record lows and the office market is displaying strong indicators with vacancies decreasing and asking rates creeping up. In all sectors Class A space in the most desirable areas is getting harder to find.

2015 Mid-Year Market Report

The Treasure Valley commercial real estate market showed strength in all sectors during the second quarter of 2015.  The retail market witnessed strong positive absorption of 290,000 sf. The office space sector saw lease rates begin to climb, while the industrial sector is beginning to see all-time lows in vacancy. The land market is thriving as new home construction is in a big uptrend.
