Warsaw, September 15th, 2016 – Colliers International has won the mandate to manage Maraton office complex in Poznan, Poland. The building is owned by Skanska S.A.
“We are very happy to expand our real estate management service platform in Poznan and also to partner together with Skanska, with whom we have had a longstanding relationship with across a number of service lines within Colliers Poland.” said Peter Love, partner in Colliers International.
Maraton was designed in accordance with sustainable building philosophy aiming at creating the best possible work environment while reducing energy consumption. The building will be certified with LEED Gold.
“Maraton has all the characteristics that a good office building should offer - convenient location, combined with comfortable, spacious and sunny interiors. The number of contracts signed and the high level of the space leased suggests that we perfectly hit the tastes of tenants. The attention to their satisfaction prompts us to provide them with a good "host" - and this is certainly Colliers.” – adds Ewelina Kałużna, leasing and asset management director at Skanska Property Poland.
Maraton is located in the center of Poznan. The inspiration to give the building the sport name was Maratońska Street and proximity of sport facilities – legendary for the city sport club KS Warta – among other. The construction was started in January 2015 and it is supposed to be finished in the fourth quarter of 2016. Maraton consists of 7 floors. Its total office space is 25000 sqm, with 300 parking places. The concept design has been prepared by CDF Architekci and the project's general contractor is Skanska S.A.
