    Warsaw, December 15, 2014 – Colliers International has carried out a survey on the Christmas shopping habits of Poles. 300 people took part in the study. Nearly 60 % of respondents prefer to do their shopping in traditional shops, with the remainder choosing to shop online. People in the age range 31 - 40 spend the most, while those between 20 and 30 years old spend the least – according to Colliers publication “Christmas shopping fever“.

    Warsaw, November 25, 2014 – Leasing activity in the third quarter recorded the best result since the beginning of 2014. From July to September agreements for 289,000 sqm were signed. Net absorption reached the level of 128,700 sqm. Pre-let transactions made up a share of 18,6% of total volume.

    Warsaw, November 21, 2014 – In the course of the year, the greatest number of shops, service points and restaurants have been leased in medium-sized and small cities. In large cities, pre-lease agreements for projects at an advanced level of planning were announced such as agreements with Carrefour and LPP group in two shopping centres planned in Warsaw by GTC.

    Warsaw, November 20, 2014. - Colliers International, along with the developer TK Development will be responsible for the process of leasing retail space in the CH Nowy Rynek that is being developed in Jelenia Góra (South-Western Poland). The centre will be delivered in the autumn of 2015.

    Warsaw, November 17, 2014 “After a period of increased activity among developers in the medium-sized and smaller towns and cities, we are now witnessing the construction of new retail schemes in each of the major Polish agglomerations,” observes Colliers International in the report “Return of the big cities”. The total planned new supply will reach the level of 980,000 m² GLA by 2017.

Colliers International, representing Mosaic Property, the owner of the site, has acquired as tenants three companies: J.S. Hamilton Poland, Techem and Falck.

  • FirstService uestablishes new Colliers International operation in France

    Warsaw, October 10, 2014 – FirstService Corporation (NASDAQ: FSRV; TSX: FSV) announced today that its subsidiary, Colliers International (“Colliers”) has acquired a controlling interest in AOS Group (“AOS”), one of Europe’s leading real estate and workplace consulting firms. Headquartered in Paris, France, AOS will immediately be rebranded as “Colliers International” throughout France, Belgium, Spain, Morocco, UK, Netherlands, and Switzerland. Gilles Betthaeuser, Founder and CEO of AOS Group, will retain the balance of the equity and will continue to lead operations. The acquisition provides Colliers with a significant new base of operations in France and Belgium and augments existing operations in the other markets noted above, by providing Colliers clients with enhanced service offerings in tenant representation, project management and workplace consulting. AOS currently generates approximately US$100 million in annual revenues. Terms of the transactions were not disclosed.

    Warsaw, October 2, 2014 - Castle Carbery Properties, on behalf of Mazovia Holdings II Sp.z o.o., has sold the Cirrus Office Building located in the Mokotów District of Warsaw, to a subsidiary of Adgar Investments & Development, a real estate investor traded on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
