Warsaw, July 13, 2016 – Dariusz Forysiak has joined the CEE Investment Services team of Colliers International as Associate Director. He will be responsible for the development of the specialized Retail Investment business line within the investment services department, focusing on advisory in the purchase and sale of retail properties, development of relationships with investors and retail operators active on the Polish market and origination of new retail-focused capital.
Dariusz Forysiak has 19 years of professional experience at IKEA in Poland, Sweden and Lithuania where he held the positions of Store Support, Supply Team Leader, Business Developer, Lease Manager and Acquisition Manager. For the past three years, as the Acquisition Manager in IKEA Centres Polska, Dariusz was responsible for business development and company’s investment plans. He supported the process of property acquisitions. Dariusz coordinated Development/Leasing/Property departments, cooperated with financial institutions, property advisors and government officials. In 2009 – 2012 he worked as the Lease Manager in Inter IKEA Centres Polska S.A., where he managed all leasing activities in the company’s 8 shopping centres located in Poland. He cooperated with tenants such as: Auchan, Carrefour, Media Markt, H&M, LPP, TK Maxx, Decathlon, Castorama, Obi, Jula, McDonald’s and AmRest. Between 2006 – 2009 he worked on business strategies and long-term relations with IKEA suppliers from the Northern Europe, the Baltic States, the Benelux countries and Mexico. Dariusz graduated from Kozminski University in Warsaw, mastering in Business & Management. He completed Advanced Business Negotiation training organised by the Scandinavian Purchasing Group Project Management and finance training at the University of Lund in Sweden.
