Warsaw, June 5, 2017 – British outdoor retailer Mountain Warehouse opened its flagship store in the capital of Małopolska region at the beginning of June. The store with a total area of over 190 sqm is located in the tenement house at Floriańska street – the main high street of the city. Colliers International, a global leader in commercial real estate, supported the tenant in the negotiations and leasing process.
“Opening of the flagship Mountain Warehouse store in Kraków at Floriańska street is the icing on the cake among the brand’s openings in the last half of the year. The address is not a coincidence. The place occupied by Mountain Warehouse is a gem of Floriańska street and has been in the interest of the tenant for several years. Leasing of this space is a great success,” said Karolina Jamróz, Associate Director, Retail Agency, Colliers International.
Floriańska street is one of the most popular shopping streets in Poland. Most of tourists visiting Kraków (over 12 million in 2016) start their adventure with the city from this particular street. The newly opened Mountain Warehouse shop will be the first regular store in Kraków and fourth in Poland, after Zakopane, Katowice and Poznań. The brand’s products can be purchased in a total of 13 shops in Poland, including a store in Factory Kraków outlet in Modlniczka, located on the outskirts of the city.
