Warsaw, 16 June 2014 - Żabka Polska has leased nearly 4,500 m2 of office space in the Poznan Andersia Business Centre owned by the Von der Heyden Group. The tenant was represented by Colliers International.
Żabka Polska, owner of the country's largest convenience store chain Żabka and supermarkets under the brand name Freshmarket will move into the complex in December this year. The new office in Poznan will be the company’s headquarters. Żabka will be the largest tenant of the Andersia complex, which has 11,000 m2 GLA of office space.
“The lease transaction for Żabka Polska is one of the largest in the Poznan office market over the past few years. The company already has 3,500 stores in Poland and dynamic expansion is generating new needs. Placing its main office in Poznan is the natural choice as the first Żabka stores were based here,” comments Sebastian Bedekier, regional director of Colliers International in Poznan responsible for the transaction.
Andersia Business Centre is a modern A-class office building located in the very centre of the city, along the main thoroughfare Królowej Jadwigi, and near the city's most famous high street, Półwiejska. The building is an integral part of the emerging complex on Plac Andersa offering office, retail, hotel services and entertainment. The building was opened in 2012. The originator and main investor of the building is the Von der Heyden Group.
