It’s vital that these figures don’t only include Warsaw but other regional city’s. Nevertheless many have expressed considerable interest in the following cities such us, Poznan, Krakow and Wroclaw. More and more is happening in Lodz, which was hitherto moreover a complex market. However, currently, there is a great interest in Lodz, and I think that in the next upcoming weeks several developers will be able to boast about their new agreements. In the first quarter of 2014 Colliers International represented various companies, among them was, Provident who leased more than 4 thousand sqm. in a Warsaw Gdansk Business Center. Also advised Altkom who renegotiated their current agreement (about 4 thousand. sq. m.) in the Warsaw Trade Tower. Furthermore Colliers also represented the interests of Carlson Wagonlit eCentre, which leased approximately 2 thousand sqm. in Conres building in Rzeszow;
Colliers International represented Compuware in securing new headquarters building in Gdansk Alchemy. The new facility totaling 3,000 thousand sqm. as well as represented Obiectivity, which has decided to expand their current office space in Wroclaw West Forum to over 2,000 sqm. Colliers was called upon to also represent interest of the owners the buildings. In the first quarter Colliers acquired new tenants, among others to Poleczki Business Park (Teva has decided to lease over 2,800 sqm over there) and Oxygen Park in which Fujitsu Technology Solutions has leased about 1,300 thousand sqm. for immediate use.
We expect that 2014 will be full of effect sizeable transactions. Customer development will generate a demand predominantly for office space, nevertheless it is important to highlight that in the first quarter of 2013 was dominated by renegotiations.
