Warsaw, February 4, 2016 – Komfort has extended the lease on its store in the Zielony Targówek retail park. Colliers International, the global advisory company, acted as the exclusive agent responsible for leasing the retail space. Zielony Targówek retail park is owned by Credit Suisse Asset Management.
“Komfort has been conducting very intensive modernisation work in its sale networks for more than a year. We are implementing a new store layout model as a part of our comprehensive omni-channel sales platform, which together with a new product range is causing a rapid increase in sales. Zielony Targówek retail park is of strategic importance as our flagship store will open there soon. Our experience of operating there and the retail park’s property manager are arguments for extending the lease agreement,” said Wojciech Kiestrzyń, Management Board Vice President at Sklepy Komfort S.A.
“We are pleased Komfort has decided to stay longer in Zielony Targówek retail park. This is an acknowledgement that the cooperation with the owner and the location is opening up new growth opportunities for Komfort’s concept there. Komfort will soon unveil its new image in the retail park. We have no doubt that the wide range of Komfort’ s products matches well the retail park’s furniture and interior design offer,” said Marta Cegielnik-Michalska, Senior Associate at the Retail Agency of Colliers International.
After 10 years of operating, the retail park has been renovated. As a result, the building has gained a new logo, the façade has been changed and the car park modernised. A public playground has also been built. KFC Drive Thru has recently joined the group of tenants to take up space at the retail park. “Considering the economic potential and consumer behaviour, we are planning with the owner to widen the retail park’s offer in the future,” adds Marta Cegielnik-Michalska.
Zielony Targówek retail park opened in June 2007 and is located in the north-east of Warsaw, near the Toruńska highway. It offers 24,400 sqm of leasable area and 740 parking spaces. Tenants include companies such as: CityFit, Saturn, Black Red White, KFC Drive Thru, Jysk, Komfort, Kakadu, Abra, Biedronka, Norauto and Shell.
