The plots are located next to the Riga International Airport and can be used for various development projects. Initially, these land plots were intended for building a regional exhibition and conference centre. The location of this real estate is particularly beneficial—in the vicinity of the estate, there is the arterial road of the capital, and also the largest air traffic hub in the Baltics.

As a result of a public tender, a procurement tender contract has been signed with Colliers International for organizing the sale of the vacant land plots. The plots will be sold in an oral auction with an open ascending price. The auction goal is to sell all of the land plots together as a whole. To achieve this, it is planned to make foreign investors aware of this estate. Privatization laws also stipulate the possibility of selling the land plots individually. The auctions will be held on March 14, 2013. Applications for auctions can be submitted by February 27, 2013.
